Part one of a two-part series! While conservators are well-versed on potential health issues from exposure to mold, solvents, lung irritants, and more, the risk of physical harm to our joints and musculoskeletal systems due to repetitive and sometimes awkward work positions is less frequently addressed. Join your fellow BAACG members and our special guest speaker to explore the aches, pains, and injuries stemming from the specific demands of our profession and how we can prevent and alleviate them.
Our speaker, Evangeline Ventura, PT, has over 2 decades of experience working as a physical therapist in rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries with extensive continuing educational courses in manual therapy including specialized treatments for the nervous system. She currently sees private wellness clients for sessions that, in addition to PT, may involve modalities of yoga and meditation.
