Dear Gail,

Last chance to register :

The weekend program of September 17th & 18th has nearly reached the limit for participants--we have just a few spaces remaining!

CSA WR invites you to attend a very special and exclusive behind the scenes two day program in San Francisco.

Day 1 (Sat.): Takes us on a private tour of the American Conservatory Theatre (ACT) costume and wardrobe shop. Then onto the SF Museum of Performance+Design Archives, for a look a rare historic San Francisco Opera and Ballet costumes, and other ephemera from this extensive collection.

Following the tours, CSA Western Region Board, invites you to stay and join us for the Annual General Meeting.

Day 2 (Sun.): Returning to the MP+D, CSA is hosting volunteer Angels Project to address much needed collection care and re-housing of selected textiles and costumes from the archive collections.

*Please note: registration for this two day program, does not require that you attend and participate both days. All registrants are welcome to attend both days. However, you may select to come to one or the other at your preference. Registration Fees collected for this two day program will be used to procure archival materials and supplies--as a donation from the CSA WR Board of Directors, specifically for the SF MP+D Angels (volunteer) Project. We thank you in advance for your in-kind participation.

We would like to express a special thank you to Bob Henderson, President of Hollinger Metal Edge Inc. archival storage materials, for their generous donation of acid free textile storage boxes , acid free unbuffered tissue and other necessary materials for the Angels' Project. Their welcoming accommodation to our request is greatly appreciated. You can visit the Metal edge homepage for information about the archival materials they provide to the museum and conservation profession.

Please visit the event page for further details, by clicking the link just below.

You can visit the Event Page from the Registration form, prior to registering.
